E-Learning Events and Activities at the University branch in Bisha

Under the auspices of Dr. Mahdi bin Ali Al-Qarni, General Supervisor of the University branch in Bisha, training unit at the university branch in Bisha conducted a range of training sessions for faculty members of the 8 colleges during the first period of the second semester in the e-learning lab, and through virtual classrooms and video conferencing network for women's colleges.

The sessions presented by Mr. Mohammed Yahya, where 90 members trained on the system of virtual classrooms, and 30 members trained on the basics of the Blackboard system.

Dr. Mohammed Bin Ayed Al Qahtani, general supervisor of e-learning in Bisha, announced more training sessions to be offered during the remainder of this semester.


''iPad in Education'' within eLearning Unit Activities at College of Science

Under the auspices of Prof. Abdullah Al-Suhaimi, Dean of College of Science , and the supervision of Dr. Abu Elwafa Salim, E-Unit Supervisor , two-day training sessions were held for students on how to use and control iPad.

This sessions were the first of its kind and presented by Dr. Ramadan Mohamed Salem , a member of the eLearning Committee.

The sessions were very informative and in addition to students also attended by many faculty members.

The E-Learning Unit at the College updated the IOS to the latest 6.1.3 version for all iPads in the mobile e-learning lab at the unit and installed all the needed applications such as :

iBooks, iTunesU, Blackboard Mobile Learn, Tegrity, Data Analysis 



E-Learning Activities at Sharia College

Part of its plan to achieve the optimal activation for e-learning in the College of Sharia, E-Learning Unit at the College organized a number of training workshops included the following titles:

1 - Introduction to Blackboard (beginner level) by Mr. Abdullah Zubain and Mr. Ahmed Al Shaflout

2 - Creating and Evaluation of Assignments (intermediate level) by Mr. Mohammed Al-Jarallah and Mr. Abdullah Zubain

3 - Virtual Classroom System (Advanced Level) by Mr. Mohammad Al-Jarallah

Sessions attended by a large number of faculty members and were interactive and successful.

E-learning Events at College of Arts and Sciences C.2 in Khamis Mushayt

Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences C.2 in Khamis Mushayt, Dr. Jawahar Al-Fawzan, the e-learning unit supervisor, Dr. Jihan Abdul Aziz Rajab in cooperation with e-learning specialist, Ms. Manal Muzaini, a number of training sessions were held from Saturday till Tuesday

The sessions dealt with fundamentals and important interlocutor for the faculty members and students and included:

     1 - E-courses Design based in QM Standards

     2 - Various types of electronic activities

     3 - Review of successful electronic courses (supportive - blended)

The sessions held in the e-learning lab and were attended by all faculty members.

Another event represented by an electronic test which held in the e-learning lab from 8:30 am to 9:30 am for a number of 30 students, the exam passed successfully and the students liked the experience.

QM standard for faculty members of Computer Science College

The e-Learning unit at Computer Science College arranged a special training session under the supervision of Head of Computer Science Department, Dr. Nasser Mansoor Tairan for those faculty members who are teaching fully online courses for the current semester II, 1433-1434.

Dr. Muhammad Ramadan Saadi gave the training as per QM standard. The Unit supervisor Mr. AbdulHafeez also supported the session.
